This antique Persian Malayer is rich in both color and in design. Antique red, yellow, and blue work cohesively into a decorative and lively piece. This luxurious Malayer has a beautiful central medallion and surrounding floral scrolls and borders. In Malayer and the small villages surrounding it, production was mostly done by individual weavers in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
