Returns and Shipping Policy

Return Policy

You may return an item for a refund of the merchandise total within 7 days of delivery. Items must be shipped back to Mehraban following our provided return instructions. Refunds are issued within 24 hours after the item has been received and inspected.

Please note:

  • Return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount.

  • Purchases made by credit card will incur a 3% transaction fee, deducted from the refund.

  • Returned items must be in new, unused, pristine condition and in their original packaging.

Return Eligibility

To qualify for a refund, items must:

  • Be in original showroom condition

  • Include all original packaging and materials

  • Show absolutely no signs of wear, soil, staining, fading, or damage

Refunds are not issued if the item fails inspection.

Shipping Policy

Orders are fulfilled within 1–3 business days. Any delays will be communicated via email. Shipping times and costs vary by destination and method selected.

  • Shipments are sent via FedEx, UPS, or common carrier

  • All items ship FOB destination, with title transferring upon receipt

  • International recipients are responsible for all duties and taxes

Damaged or Missing Items

If your merchandise arrives damaged or incomplete, please notify us immediately to ensure timely resolution.

30-Day Exchange Policy

Items postmarked within 30 days of purchase may be exchanged.

Exchange terms:

  • A 25% restocking fee (based on the straight purchase price)

  • All shipping charges deducted

  • Item must be returned in the same perfect showroom condition

Exchange credits are processed within 3 business days of receipt.

No Returns or Exchanges on Custom Rugs

Mehraban does not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for:

  • Custom rugs

  • Rug pads

  • Sale items

Payment Policy

We accept major credit cards for payments up to $15,000.
Payments exceeding this amount:

  • Are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee, or

  • May be paid via wire transfer or ACH to avoid the fee

All items must be paid in full prior to shipping or delivery.

Custom Order Terms & Conditions

Production & Lead Times

Custom order lead times are based on collaborative assessments between Mehraban, our overseas agents, and workshop managers. These timelines represent the best professional estimates at the time of ordering.

  • Production timelines apply only to weaving

  • Shipping times vary depending on logistics and destination

  • Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees

Mehraban will make every reasonable effort to meet estimated timelines and will communicate any developments promptly.

Color & Size Variation

Due to the artisanal nature of handmade rugs and the use of natural fibers and dyes:

  • A 10–15% color variation is normal and expected

  • A size variation up to 3% (width or length) is customary

These characteristics are inherent to handmade craftsmanship.

Finality of Custom Orders

  • Custom rugs are non-refundable and non-returnable

  • No exchanges or store credits will be issued

  • All custom orders must be paid in full prior to delivery or shipment
