Alternating chevron stripes of rosy pinks and mottled brown run the width of the field. A column of irregular diamonds with nested contours in matching coloration runs through the center of the rug. Borders composed of stacked rectangles frame the composition. This rug has a wabi-sabi appeal, clarity in design intent combined with an improvisational craft. Fibers include recycled textiles and wools, which give variation and the occasional surprise. This is a unique vintage piece from the Boujad region of Morocco.
