Vintage Turkish Jijim

This handwoven jijim emerges from Anatolian workshops where flatweave traditions produced textiles of remarkable geometric precision. Turkish rugs of this construction employ a supplementary weft technique that creates raised motifs against a striped ground, distinguishing jijims from standard kilim weaving.
