Antique Persian Lilihan Rug 10289

Indigo abrash ground with broad flourishes if curvilinear motifs in brick red, coral pink and sage green with ivory detailing. The rug has an all-over field with interlocking botanical motifs aligned to an axial grid. The main border features a vivid brick-red ground and heratic meander motif in indigo, coral and pale blue with ivory lines. This is a vivid antique from Lillihan in the Arak province of northwestern Iran.
