Collection: ZigZigZag Collection

This collection of handmade area rugs was conceptualized by Chinmaya Misra and Bita Khalvati based on patterned architectural line drawings. The collection explores  movement in space. The lines and strokes defining each piece are reminiscent of ocean waves. The sequence of strokes and the repetition of diagonal lines in endless permutations and combinations shape and layer each rug. Each rug in this series is therefore named after a beach that further signifies its color, shape, form and texture.
