Tan ground with motif areas of ivory and soft rust-red articulated in black outline. The design includes a central sunflower medallion, pendants and arabesque spandrels. Graceful curving vines, elaborate palmettes and rosette fill motifs throughout. The full composition is framed by borders of similar motifs. This is a vintage Kerman from southeastern Iran.
