Soft walnut abrash ground with ivory, tan and pale indigo motifs and deep red outlines and detailing. The all-over pattern features vine lattice, complex palmettes, serrated leaves and boteh motifs. The design is framed with a border of vine meanders. This is an antique from Sivas in north central Anatolia, a Turkish rug weaving center known for fine productions in the Persian style.
