At Mehraban all of our luxury designer rugs are designed in Los Angeles. Los Angeles has been our first home in the United States since 1983 — we have a deep connection to our city and have remained on the same street ever since. Our design team includes a magnificent host of luxury rug designers, Los Angeles interior designers, and local textile artists. We collaborate with international workshops in Morocco, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Turkey, and of course, Iran.
We are a third-generation business with roots in Iran and all of our luxury designer rugs are handmade with high-quality materials. Our rugs offer your living space timeless luxury, personality, and sophistication. Our collections range from modern, contemporary, chic, minimalistic, elegant, and antique. Our luxury rug designer Erica Islas uses her architectural approach to design innovative, functional, and fun pieces. Michael Berman reflects his interest in mid-century modern styling, history, art, architecture, and nature to design intricately detailed pieces. FORM Design Studio creates luxury designer rugs for the modern minimalist, inspired by a beautiful blend of holistic sustainable living. Award-winning Sue Firestone connects with her Malibu roots in her designs by displaying coastal colors and a calming atmosphere.
Liesel Plambeck is an artist and designer who specializes in textile and product design. She creates dynamic and contemporary designs, inspired by the landscape of her home state California. The design duo Madam Chair breathes new life into spaces with their craft, experience, and unique style. Gina Werfel, an artist who has a deep love for water and swimming uses her connection to aquatic life to inspire personal and rhythmically artistic designs.
